If you have created a connector for Dynamics, you will be forwarded directly to the configuration page. You can access this setting late any time by clicking the Configure button in the CRM Connector list.
To enable the CRM access you need to first register an additional App in your Microsoft tenant and second you need to define the FQDN to address the Microsoft Dynamics API of you instance.
To register the app and to grand the needed permissions to access the Microsoft Dynamics API please press the Grand Permissions button.
A Microsoft login window pops up. Similar to the onboarding process, please login with an account that has the needed user rights to register an app and grand permissions for the organisations.
After successfully registering the app you will see the app in your Azure instance under Enterprise applications.
It may take some time for the app to register in Azure. The status may show "Permission not granted yet" even when permission is granted. Close the dialog and reopen it by clicking the Configure button in the CRM Connectors table to check again.
The XRMFusion server components do not connect to the Microsoft Dynamics API even if you grand the permissions to do so. The app registration has to be done to enable the XRMFusion clients to access the API in the name of the locally signed in user.
To access the Microsoft Dynamics API of your instance, you must define the FQDN for your organisation in the Parametrization section of the CRM Connector settings. You will find this URL in your Microsoft Dynamics settings under Settings/Customization/Developer Ressources in the parameter Service Root URL.
With the option search also in inactive contacts XRMFusion tries to resolve the caller phone number also in the as inactive declared contacts.
Please save the settings.
After successfully configuration of your CRM Connector, please continue with the configuration of a CRM schema.
